The invention concerns the use of a composition comprising at least a mixture of molecules obtained from Vitis vinifera and Vaccinium angustifolium, the mixture comprising: - at least 1% catechins and/or epicatechins, the percentage being given by weight relative to the total weight of the mixture, - at least 5 ppm (parts per million in the mixture) of ferulic acid, and - at least 200 ppm of resveratrol, as a single dose in humans or animals in order to improve or maintain cognitive functions.L'invention concerne l'utilisation d'une composition comprenant au moins un mélange de molécules obtenu à partir de Vitis vinifera et de Vaccinium angustifolium, ledit mélange comprenant : - au moins 1% de catéchines et/ou épicatéchines, le pourcentage étant donné en poids par rapport au poids total du mélange, - au moins 5 ppm (parties par million dans le mélange) d'acide férulique, et - au moins 200ppm de resvératrol, en prise unique chez un être humain ou un animal pour améliorer ou pour maintenir ses fonctions cognitives.
