Biocompatible nano-polymer particle comprises a biocompatible polymer, a stabilizer and an active ingredient for treating pulmonary hypertension or erectile dysfunction. An independent claim is also included for preparing biocompatible nano-polymer particle, comprising (a) dissolving the biocompatible polymer and the active ingredient in a solvent to form an organic phase, (b) emulsifying the organic phase in an aqueous phase containing a stabilizer, (c) mixing the organic and aqueous phase, and (d) removing the solvent and obtaining the particles in suspension, or carrying out the step (a) and spray-drying the organic phase.
