PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of automatically collecting reference images only which are required for a diagnosis when a doctor performs the diagnosis.SOLUTION: An image display device 1 can display a diagnosis object image P stored in storage means 16 and a reference image P* on a display screen 15, and includes in advance a relation T associating a clinic purpose and a kind of the reference image P* imaged in the past. The kind of the reference image P* which is required by the relation T is identified based on a patient to be an object of the diagnosis and the diagnosis purpose.
