PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pest trapping device capable of efficiently trapping a flying pest and a walking/crawling pest, and provide a pest trapping method using this pest trapping device.SOLUTION: A pest trapping device 1 has a pest trapping section 2 being set up from the ground. The lower end of this trapping section 2 comes in contact with the ground. Further, the pest trapping device includes an adhesive layer 4 having an adhesive lower end in the position close to the ground.
