PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical apparatus intended to save electric power.SOLUTION: The MR apparatus includes a power measuring device. The power measuring device calculates the power W consumed by the MR apparatus. If the consumed power W exceeds a threshold, the power measuring device informs a central processing unit that the consumed power W exceeds the threshold.
