A syringe comprising: a syringe barrel having an inner surface forming a cavity, an open end and a distal end； a piston rod having an elongated body, a recess along this elongated body, a locking part connected to the elongated body, and a group of first teeth formed inside recesses on the elongated body and forming a group of protrusions facing in the distal direction and evenly distributed over most of the elongated body； an locking element that is slidably mounted inside the cavity along the larger portion of the elongated body, said locking element interacting with the inner surface of the syringe barrel so that the locking element cannot be moved toward the open end of the syringe barrel, and can interact with the piston rod so that the piston rod and the locking element can be moved together in the distal direction to the distal end of the syringe barrel. 2. The syringe according to claim 1, in which the elongated housing further comprises a second tooth forming an intermediate protrusion facing in the distal direction, which is located between the first and second protrusions facing in the distal direction and located on the elongated housing farthest from the proximal end of the piston rod of all protrusions facing distally. 3.
