FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopaedics and can be used for treating elbow flexion contracture in older children with arthrogryposis. Correcting corticotomy of the olecranon is performed with excision of the wedge. Fragments are aligned and fixed with wires with a thread. Olecranon is consolidated, stage gypsum is incised with a built-in distraction device along an anterior surface of the elbow joint until achieving a functionally beneficial extension in the elbow joint. Distal muscle of the back is separated from the chest in the distal portion with preservation of a fixation point on a humerus. Elbow ulnar process of elbow bone is extracted from arched incision along posterior surface of elbow joint. Выполняют консолидацию локтевого отростка, этапное гипсование с вмонтированным дистракционным устройством по передней поверхности локтевого сустава до достижения функционально выгодного разгибания в локтевом суставе. Проводят отсечение широчайшей мышцы спины от грудной клетки в дистальном отделе с сохранением точки фиксации на плечевой кости. Выделяют локтевой отросток локтевой кости из дугообразного разреза по задней поверхности локтевого сустава.
