A combination having anti-coccidian effects is described, being formed by toltrazuril and trimethoprim. Also, veterinary compositions are described in which said combination is used, wherein the veterinary compositions have an enhanced effect making the birds to recover faster from the disease and with fewer side effects, and wherein the combination active ingredients do not precipitate when used with hard-water.
