The invention relates to a spatial detection device for improving a user's ability to move and providing assistance in autonomous movement for visually impaired or blind persons, which is also ergonomic, portable and easy to use. The device comprises: a housing that includes a set of modules； securing means joined to the housing for fastening the device to the user； at least one means for accessing user information； and an ultrasound transducer positioned in the joint between a side of the housing and the securing means.
