PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair washing agent composition which can maintain light and fluffy foam quality and a desired viscosity, improve smoothness and finger combing properties from the time of washing hair to the time of rinsing and exhibit conditioning effects such as finger-combing smoothness, settling feeling, softness and firmness and elasticity feelings during drying.SOLUTION: A hair washing agent composition comprises (A) 8.0 to 20.0 mass% of an alkyl ether sulfate-based anionic surfactant, (B) 1.0 to 5.0 wt.% of an amphoteric or zwitterionic surfactant represented by the formula (1), (C) 0.2 to 1.0 wt.% of cationized galactomannan, (D) 0.2 to 2.0 wt.% of an N-acyl-N-methyl-β-alanine salt, (E) 0.1 to 3.0 wt.% of a neutral inorganic salt, (F) 1.0 wt.% or less of a nonionic surfactant substantially containing no fatty acid diethanolamide, and (G) a residue of purified water, on the basis of 100 wt.% of the whole composition.
