PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition which is excellent in imparting of a good feeling of use and a conditioning effect on the hair or skin, particularly, has a good feeling of use when washing (foaming, foam quality, sliding property), and when rinsing (no feeling of hair friction, smoothness of finger combing), and a good sense of touch after drying (no feeling of dryness) to the damage hair.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a detergent composition containing (A) one or more kinds of anionic surfactants and (B) one or more kinds of imidazoline based amphoteric surfactants represented by general formula RCO-N(CH2CH2OH)CH2CH2NR1R2, or RCO-NHCH2CH2N(CH2CH2OR3)R4.
