Various embodiments described herein relate to a server and related wearable device, method, and machine-readable storage medium including one or more of the following: receiving, at a rule installation server, family health data associated with at least one family member of a wearable device user； retrieving a candidate rule including installation criteria and an identification of a wearable device rule； evaluating the installation criteria using the family health data to determine that the candidate rule is to be installed； and based on determining that the candidate rule is to be installed, communicating the wearable device rule for installation on the wearable device.
