The present invention describes a fishing pliers used to provide improved cutting, crimping, and hook removal encountered when fishing. The pliers can cut wire, hooks, monofilament, and a variety of lines including braided lines and the like. The pliers also have the features of being light weight and high strength and the ability to float if dropped into the water.
