To provide a nurse call system for notifying a nurse in the case of falling and disconnection only when a device is an important device that obtains a patient state such as a mat sensor among devices to be connected to an option terminal of a plate slave unit.SOLUTION: In a nurse call system, a plate slave unit includes: an option connection section for enabling various kinds of devices to perform connection in response to use； a device discrimination section for discriminating whether a device connected to the option connection section is a predetermined device； and a falling and disconnection warning object discrimination section for discriminating whether a device discriminated by the device discrimination section is a falling and disconnection warning output object.
