The present invention relates to the preparation of compositions comprising benzoyl peroxide, with or without other additional active ingredients. The process involves introducing benzoyl peroxide, along with any other active ingredients present, into a fatty substance that contains and protects the ingredients that would otherwise be unstable when in contact with one another. The composition is designed to allow all ingredients to become available for skin contact or skin absorption when the fatty substance softens and/or melts as the composition is applied to the skin. The benzoyl peroxide may be pre-micronized to a particle distribution size of about dgo of 0.1 to 150 microns, preferably dgo of 10 to 15 microns.La présente invention concerne la préparation de compositions comprenant du peroxyde de benzoyle, avec ou sans autres ingrédients actifs. Le procédé implique l'introduction de peroxyde de benzoyle, ainsi que tous les autres ingrédients actifs présents, dans une substance grasse qui contient et protège les ingrédients qui seraient sinon instables lorsqu'ils entreraient en contact les uns avec les autres. La composition est conçue pour permettre de rendre tous les ingrédients disponibles pour un contact avec la peau ou une absorption par la peau lorsque la substance grasse ramollit et/ou fond tandis que la composition est appliquée sur la peau. Le peroxyde de benzoyle peut être préalablement micronisé jusqu'à une distribution de tailles de particules d90 d'environ 0,1 à 150 microns, de préférence d90 de 10 à 15 microns.
