PURPOSE: A method for measuring damage to spinal cord is provided to measure the degree of spinal cord injury by extending the backbone of an animal in a longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring damage to spinal cord is as follows. The back of an anesthetized object is opened and the backbone(12) is exposed. Two pairs of spinal fixation screws are installed in the adjacent backbone. The backbone between two pairs of spinal fixation screws is cut. The stimulation delivery capability of the spinal cord is measured.본 발명은 인간과 유사한 척추구조를 가지는 동물의 척추를 길이방향으로 신장시켜서 척수가 손상되는 정도를 측정할 수 있는 척추견인에 따른 척수손상측정방법에 관한 것으로, 마취가 된 피실험체의 등을 개방하여 척추를 노출시키는 노출단계； 상기 인접하는 척추뼈에 좌우양측을 1쌍으로 하여 2쌍의 척추고정나사를 설치하는 설치단계； 상기 2쌍의 척추고정나사 사이의 척추뼈를 절단하는 절단단계； 및 상기 인접하는 척추고정나사간에 설치된 연결로드의 길이방향으로 상기 척추고정나사가 서로 멀어지는 방향으로 척추뼈를 견인하면서 척수의 길이변화에 따른 척수의 자극전달능력을 측정하는 견인측정단계를 포함한다.
