A continuous analyte measurement system, comprising a base unit, an analyte sensor associated with a predetermined manufacturing lot of sensors, the analyte sensor comprising a proximal portion configured for positioning within the base unit and a distal portion configured for insertion through a skin surface, wherein the analyte sensor is configured to generate one or more signals related to an analyte level, a memory storing a drift profile and instructions which, when executed by the one or more processors, causes the one or more processors to determine a drift correction factor for the analyte sensor according to a predetermined algorithm associated with the drift profile; and determine the analyte level according to the drift correction factor.
