The invention refers to a floating header (50) for an agricultural combine (10), the header (50) comprising:a frame (52) a support member (62) supporting the frame (52) from the grounda suspension (60) variably supporting the frame (52), the suspension (60) having a sub-frame (64) that is arranged to be removably attached to a combine (10), a plurality of links (66, 68) movably attaching the frame (52) and the sub-frame (64), and one or more float cylinder (70) moveably supporting the frame (52) from the sub-frame (64)a float circuit (72) connecting to each float cylinder (70)a float valve (74) arranged to connect the float circuit (72) to a main hydraulic circuit (40) of the combine (10), the float valve (74) adapted to controllably add and subtract hydraulic fluid in the float circuit (72).
