SOLUTION: This flowerpot has an opened top edge 7, a vessel 3 with a bottom 4 and formed in a hollow and approximately inversely conical shape and a cylindrical member 9 set upright in the soil 26 filled in the vessel 3; wherein the cylindrical member 9 has an opened top edge 10 and a plurality of holes 14 on the sidewall 12 thereof, the top edge 10 of the cylindrical member is located above the upper surface 27 of the soil, the cylindrical member 9 has a recessed part 20 below the holes 16 positioned at the lowermost level among the plurality of holes 14, and the to-be-inserted part 18 of the cylindrical member is inserted into a through hole 6 set at the bottom 4 of the vessel.
