PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device used for an information acquisition device for accurately acquiring information of a subject.SOLUTION: The optical device includes: a light source for emitting linear polarized light a polarized light control part for controlling polarization of light emitted from the light source and a transmission part for transmitting light emitted from the polarized light control part.
