Multiple nozzle (n) are vertically disposed in rows and liens by a steam supply means (s), so spray holes (b) formed at the top end of a steam nozzle (n) having a predetermined length (h) are horizontally distributed in a space of a sterilization region (a) in x-axis and y-axis directions at intervals and heights corresponding to the length (h) of the nozzle. At the outside of the sterilization region (a) having the nozzle disposed therein, a rectangular cub is compartmented by a side plate (p) and a bottom plate (f) of a sterilization box (B) at a 2h height of the length (h) of the nozzle (n). According to the present invention, a distance of a four-directional transfer pathway of steam heat sprayed from the spray holes (d) of the steam nozzle is almost uniform in a sterilization region compartmented by the side plate of the sterilization box. A bed soil or a soil to be sterilized at the height of the side plate of the sterilization box is fed into the sterilization box. When high temperature steam is supplied by a steam supply means, high heat of steam sprayed by the spray holes (b) of each steam nozzle (n) at the intermediate layer of the bed soil is uniformly transferred to all directions. Thus, the overall bed soil is simultaneously uniformly heated and sterilized. Without having a loss of steam heat, a using rate of heat energy becomes higher as much as the same.
