PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical table capable of forming a flat mat surface by a simple configuration and having high safety.SOLUTION: An examination table 1 (the medical table) comprises: a back plate 11 for supporting the back part of a patient a seat plate 12 for supporting the buttocks of the patient a pair of left/right leg support devices 3a and 3b for supporting the leg parts of the patient and an operation mechanism part 5 that changes angles and positions of the back plate 11, the seat plate 12, and the leg support devices 3a and 3b so as to change a posture of the patient. A seat plate frame 14 on which the seat plate 12 is mounted is detachably provided with a leg receiving plate 27 connected to extend the front part of the seat plate 11. The seat plate frame 14 includes a sensor 55 for detecting an attachment/detachment state of the leg receiving plate 27.
