The present invention relates to a rotationally openable safety rail for patients, and more specifically, to a safety rail for patients which can be mounted on the side of a patient bed and can be easily opened and closed by preventing interference with a mattress during the opening and closing of the rail by installing the safety rail on the side of a frame to allow rotational opening and closing thereof, and moreover, can be installed in a patient chair and improves user&prime；s convenience by allowing a patient to enter a seat plate in multiple directions by installing the safety rail on the frame from the side of the seat plate and allowing rotational opening and closing.본 발명은 회동 개폐형 안전난간에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 환자용 침대의 측면에 설치 가능하게 하되, 안전난간이 프레임의 측면에 설치 및 회동 개폐가 가능하게 함으로써, 난간의 개폐 작동시 매트리스와의 간섭이 방지되게 하여 원활한 개폐가 가능하게 하며, 또한, 환자용 의자에 설치 가능하게 하되, 안전난간이 좌판의 측면에서 프레임에 설치 및 회동 개폐가 가능하게 함으로써, 환자로 하여금 다수의 방향에서 용이하게 좌판으로의 진입이 가능하여 사용상의 편리함을 가져오게 하기 위한 환자용 안전난간에 관한 것이다.
