PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic composite sheet with which flexible and soft gathers having good air permeability and comfortable touch are formed, and also to provide a method for producing the same.
SOLUTION: Two sheet materials 2 and 3 are bonded at a plurality of bonding regions 5. The plurality of bonding regions 5 are arranged intermittently in the extending and contracting direction X of elastic members 4 and are also arranged intermittently or continuously in a direction Y perpendicular to the extending and contracting direction X. A plurality of bonding lines 50 and 51 comprising a plurality of bonding regions 5 are formed along the directions X and Y respectively. The plurality of bonding regions 5 has bonded parts 7 where the sheet materials 2 and 3 are bonded and non-bonded parts 8, and the bonded parts and the non-bonded parts are arranged alternatively in at least one of the directions X and Y. The plurality of elastic members 4 are arranged so that each elastic member overlaps the bonded parts 7 at each bonding region 5 and are fixed between the sheet materials 2 and 3 at the bonded parts 7. Each of the two sheet materials 2 and 3 forms pleats 6 between the bonding lines 51 extending along the direction Y.
