This invention refers to a method for producingintegrally flavored non-fried snacks, as well as thepreparation thereof, in which upon internally flavoring thepellet, flavors prevail, since a cold-extrusion processsimilar to that used for producing pastes is used, whereinthe temperature does not exceed 100°C, thereby flavorsdegrades not. In order to produce the snacks according tothis, it is required to use pre-gelatinized flours. Theflavored pellet undergoes a baking process at a hightemperature during a short period of time. An internallyflavored snack is produced, to which it is possible to addfunctional ingredients which would degrade using a normalextrusion process.
