To provide a water closet for cat and a teaching method which allow gradual training for a cat, and which can change pressure of flowing water by a straight pipe.SOLUTION: There is provided a water closet for cat formed of: a water supply direct connection type washing unit 2； and a seat 3 for cat. The water supply direct connection type washing unit 2 is configured so that, a water supply pipe is directly connected to a center of a three-way cojnnection pipe which is formed by providing a selector valve 4 on a unit body, a water flowing pipe 7 in automatic time is provided on one of the water supply pipe, a water flowing pipe 8 for manual time is provided on the other of the water supply pipe, a control part 9 for controlling the water flowing pipe 7 in automatic time is provided. The connection pipe 10 has a water discharge pipe 11 coupled to and communicated to the water flowing pipe 8 for manual time.
