PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope device suitable for observing a subject image continuously even when a trouble occurs in a processor.SOLUTION: An electronic endoscope device is composed of a primary signal processing circuit for subjecting a pixel signal output from an image pickup device of an electronic scope to signal processing and generating an image signal, a secondary signal processing circuit for subjecting the image signal output from the primary signal processing circuit to image processing, and generating a video signal, a plurality of insulation transmission means including at least one normal insulation transmission means for transmitting the image signal from the primary signal processing circuit to the secondary signal processing circuit in an insulated manner in a normal state, and transmission determination means for determining whether or not the normal insulation transmission means can transmit the image signal.
