PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the generation of the displacement of an examination object in a compression state when the biopsy of a Lateral system is executed.SOLUTION: In a radiation image-capturing apparatus, when a compression element (38) is displaced aiming at a holding member (30) holding an examination object (20), and thereby the examination object (20) held by the holding member (30) is pressed, the examination object (20) is pressed in a state that the compression element (38) relatively inclines in the right and left direction of the examination object (20) to the holding member (30) when the examination object (20) is seen from a front face.【課題】Ｌａｔｅｒａｌ方式のバイオプシを実施する際に、圧迫状態にある検査対象物の位置ずれの発生を抑制する。【解決手段】放射線画像撮影装置において、検査対象物（２０）を保持する保持部材（３０）に指向して圧迫部材（３８）が変位することにより、該保持部材（３０）に保持された検査対象物（２０）が圧迫される場合に、検査対象物（２０）を正面から視たときに、保持部材（３０）に対して圧迫部材（３８）が検査対象物（２０）の左右方向に相対的に傾斜した状態で検査対象物（２０）が圧迫されている。【選択図】図４
