PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus by which an imaging object can be securely fixed without imposing a load on a patient and which has a subject table hardly causing a positional shift, shake, etc.SOLUTION: The X-ray imaging apparatus 1 includes the subject table 13 to hold the subject on an imaging position, an X-ray source 11 arranged above the subject table 13 to irradiate an articulation part that is an imaging object area of the subject with a radiation ray, and a column 17 and a base part 19 which are placed under the subject table 13 and have an X-ray detector 16 to detect the radiation ray passed through an articulation part.
