PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for carrying an article into an isolator, the inside of which is isolated from the outside and is maintained under sterile conditions and to provide the same method capable of promptly carrying a material required for culturing work into the isolator.SOLUTION: An article storing body P comprises an inner bag 3 storing a material 2 and an outer bag 4 storing the inner bag 3. The inside of the inner bag 3 and the material 2 are pre-decontaminated by a decontamination gas. After the inner bag 3 is stored in the outer bag 4, the outer bag 4 is sealed. In so doing, the inner bag 3 and the outer bag 4 are adhered to each other using a double-sided tape 21 which is pre-attached to the outside surface of the inner bag 3 (Fig. 2 (b)). Thereby, the article storing body P is formed while a contaminated part 22 remains sealed. Then, the article storing body P is carried into a pass box 5, the outside surface of the outer bag 4 is decontaminated, and the article storing body P is carried into an isolator 1. After then, the adhesion part of the article storing body P adhered by the double-sided tape 21 is cut and opened with a cutter 14, and the material 2 is taken out from the inside of the decontaminated inner bag 3 (Fig. 2 (c)). The decontaminated material 3 can be promptly carried into the isolator 1.
