PURPOSE: Bacillus sp. CS-52 strain and a culture thereof are provided to effectively prevent anthracnose and to promote the growth of Capsicum annum. CONSTITUTION: Bacillus sp. CS-52 strain (KCTC 12078BP) prevents plant diseases. A microorganism formulation for biological prevention of pathogenic fungi in Capsicum annuum contains a culture liquid containing the strain as an active ingredient. The strain is cultured in a medium containing 0.5 % of glucose, 0.7 % of K_2HPO_4, 0.2 % of KH_2PO_4, 0.3 % of NH_4NO_3, 0.01 % of MnSO_4·；7H_2O, and 0.15 % of a yeast extract at pH 7 and 30 °；C. A method for preventing plant diseases comprises the step of treating plants or an environment where the plants grow with the culture liquid.본 발명은 분리균주 바실러스 근연종 CS-52 (Bacillus sp. CS-52) 균주, 이를 포함한 배양액 및 이를 이용한 고추병해균의 생물학적 방제 방법에 관한 것으로 식물병 방제활성을 갖는 바실러스 속 CS-52 균주를 토양에서 분리하고, 이 균주에 의한 식물 생육 증대 및 생산 증대 효과 및 항진균활성을 확인하고 항진균활성을 극대화 할 수 있는 배지의 조성과 상기 배양액을 식물체에 살포하여 고추탄저병 (Colletotrichum gloesporides)에 뛰어난 효과를 확인하였다.
