PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic imparting smoothness to the hair, also having excellent dandruff prevention and itchiness inhibition effects, and inhibiting a base agent smell.SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic includes (A) a 0.2 to 2.0 mass% acrylic acid-based polymer, (B) a 0.1 to 1.0 mass% 1-hydroxy-2-pyridone-based compound and (C) a 0.2 to 5.0 mass% cationic surfactant, and having 0.30 to 1.60 (A)/(C) (mass ratio).
