PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic straightening the flow of the hair by amending the curl thereof while keeping the natural powdery feeling originally possessed by the hair, and sustaining the settled and glossy hair for a long time.SOLUTION: The hair cosmetic is obtained by formulating (A) a specific acrylic acid-based polymer exemplified by a polymer represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R1 is hydrogen or methyl R2 is hydrogen or -CH2OH and A is oxygen or -NH-) and composed of 2-hydroxyethyl acrylamide and acrylic acid, and (B) a specified amide-amine compound in a mass ratio (A)/(B) of 0.02-10.
