A medical implant assembly (10) and method having a medical implant (12), e.g.a breast prostheses (12), affixed or similarly connected to a biological interface(18). The biological interface (18) is comprised of a dermal material (20) withcapsular contracture inhibiting properties so that once the medical assembly(10) is inserted into the host, the biological interface (18), which is intimatelycoupled to the implant (12), prevents/reduces capsular contracture formationaround the implant (12).
