A dental apparatus for removing fluid from a patients mouth during a dental procedure, the dental apparatus includes an intraoral tip having a wall defining a cavity, the wall having a plurality of apertures and at least one opening, the apertures being distributed over the wall and a hollow tube coupled to the intraoral tip, the hollow tube for connecting the opening of the intraoral tip to a suction device. The intraoral tip is continuously within the patients mouth during the dental procedure and the dental apparatus removes fluid from the patients mouth through the apertures of said intraoral tip. In one embodiment, the dental apparatus further includes a valve for modulating the rate of fluid removal from the patients mouth. In another embodiment, the dental apparatus further includes a fastener for securing the intraoral tip within the patients mouth.La présente invention concerne un appareil dentaire destiné à retirer les fluides de la bouche dun patient pendant une procédure dentaire, lappareil dentaire comprenant un embout intrabuccal ayant une paroi définissant une cavité, la paroi ayant une pluralité douvertures et au moins une ouverture, les ouvertures étant réparties sur la paroi et un tube creux couplé à lembout intrabuccal, le tube creux étant destiné à relier louverture de lembout intrabuccal à un dispositif daspiration. Lembout intrabuccal est continûment à lintérieur de la bouche du patient pendant la procédure dentaire et lappareil dentaire retire les fluides de la bouche du patient par le biais des ouvertures dudit embout intrabuccal. Dans un mode de réalisation, lappareil dentaire comprend en outre une valve destinée à moduler la vitesse de retrait de leau de la bouche du patient. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, lappareil dentaire comprend en outre une attache destinée à fixer lembout intrabuccal à lintérieur de la bouche du patient.
