PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair for bath in which excessive increase of a size of a positioning plate for positioning inclination of a backrest may be avoided.SOLUTION: A wheelchair 1 for bath comprises: a seat part 30 a backrest part 31 which is provided on a rear end side of the seat part 30, and connected to the seat part 30 rotatably in the vertical plane and a switching mechanism 40 for gradually switching inclination of the backrest part 31 to the seat part 30. The switching mechanism 40 comprises: an operation lever part 41 which is arranged on a rear surface side of the backrest part 31 a lock shaft 44 which is attached to the operation lever part 41 a positioning plate 46 provided on a rear lower part side of the seat part 30 and has an extension part extended rearward and a groove part provided on the extension part and engaged with the lock shaft 44.
