PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope for ophthalmic surgery which can present a plurality of astigmatic axial directions which have been measured in different directions with consistency.SOLUTION: The microscope 1 for ophthalmic surgery performs the measurement of the astigmatic axial direction of a patients eye E by using a projected image forming section 13 that is fitted on a microscope 6. In a storage section 70, the astigmatic axial direction which has been measured by the microscope 1 for ophthalmic surgery, and the astigmatic axial direction of the patients eye E which has been measured prior to the surgery are stored. The microscope 1 for ophthalmic surgery includes a mechanism for changing the direction of the microscope 6 on which the projected image forming section 13 is fitted, and includes a constitution for inputting the direction information that expresses the direction of the mechanism.
