PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter which improves the efficiency of transplantation.SOLUTION: In the seedling transplanter, a seedling-conveying line for conveying the stem portions of seedlings in an approximately horizontal state is formed a pair of rollers for moving the tip portions of a pair of transplantation tines in a nipping direction are disposed at positions just under the final end portion of the seedling-conveying line the tip end portions of a pair of the transplantation tines are passed between a pair of the rollers to nip the stem portion of the seedling and the transplantation tines are moved from a traveling direction side to a lower position in a backward moving direction side in a state nipping the stem portion of the seedling with both the nipping members to insert and transplant the stem portion in a field.
