PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel-like aromatic deodorant composition using gel that is not necessary to be heated during production and has excellent gel strength, wherein the gel-like aromatic deodorant composition prevents deterioration of perfume and a deodorant component, prevents a change of aromatic tone, maintains effects of the perfume and the deodorant component for a long time, prevents deformation or the like during transportation, and is easy to handle during production.
SOLUTION: The gel-like aromatic deodorant composition contains component (A), at least one of component (B) and component (C), and component (D). The component (A) is a cellulose fiber having a maximum fiber diameter of &le1,000 nm and a number-average fiber diameter of 2-100 nm, wherein the cellulose has cellulose type I crystal structure and hydroxy groups at C6 positions of glucose units of a cellulose molecule are selectively oxidized into aldehyde groups and carboxy groups to give the carboxy groups in an amount of 0.6-2.0 mmol/g. The component (B) is perfume, the component (C) is a deodorant component, and the component (D) is water.
