PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope system wherein a printer can be easily selected when a plurality of printers are connected to an image processor.
SOLUTION: The electronic endoscope system is provided with the image processor for performing image processing to image data acquired by an electronic scope, and a video printer and a digital printer for printing out video images based on image signals to which the image processing is performed. The image processor is provided with an operation part for selecting the printer to be used between the video printer and the digital printer and a control part for transmitting control signals to the selected printer. The image processor is provided with a display part for displaying the video images based on the image signals to which the image processing is performed and information for making a selection. The operation part and the display part are constituted of one touch panel, and the operation part is provided with icons (601 and 602) displayed on the touch panel and used for selecting the printer to be used.
