A teletherapy treatment arrangement constituted of: a control unit a 3 dimensional imager having an effective patient plane at least one 2 dimensional imager arranged to provide a pair of 2 dimensional images along planes generally orthogonal to the effective patient plane of the 3 dimensional imager and a patient positioner arranged to secure a target tissue in a fixed relationship to the patient positioner, the control unit arranged to: input a planned treatment position of the patient target tissue in the event that the planned treatment position is consonant with the effective patient plane of the 3 dimensional imager, obtain position information of the target tissue from the 3 dimensional imager, and in the event that the planned treatment position is not consonant with the effective patient plane of the 3 dimensional imager, obtain position information of the target tissue from the at least one 2 dimensional imager.Linvention concerne un dispositif de traitement par radiothérapie externe, constitué de: une unité de commande un imageur tridimensionnel comportant un plan efficace de patient au moins un imageur bidimensionnel, conçu pour produire une paire dimages bidimensionnelles dans des plans généralement orthogonaux par rapport au plan efficace de patient de limageur tridimensionnel et un positionneur de patient, placé en vue de fixer un tissu cible dans une relation fixe par rapport au positionneur de patient. Lunité de commande permet dintroduire une position de traitement planifiée du tissu cible du patient dans le cas où la position de traitement planifiée est conforme au plan efficace de patient de limageur tridimensionnel, dobtenir de limageur tridimensionnel des données de position du tissu cible et dans le cas où la position de traitement planifiée nest pas conforme au plan efficace de patient de limageur tridimensionnel, dobtenir de limageur/des imageurs bidimensionnel(s) des données de position du tissu cible.
