PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tissue transfer method for reconstruction and augmentation of soft tissue.SOLUTION: With a method according to the present invention, adipose tissue is harvested from a patient. The harvested tissue is processed using a centrifugal machine 244 to isolate a purified subset 250 of the adipose tissue, with the processing including separation and removal of a substantial amount of triglycerides from the harvested adipose tissue. The centrifugation may be performed to cause separation of water from the purified adipose tissue 250 and to cause separation of oil from mature adipocytes. Specifically, a spin rate may be selected to be high enough to cause lesions in the mature adipocytes that results in release of the oil. The method continues to implantation of the purified adipose tissue 250 into the patient at a breast or another area identified for reconstruction or augmentation.
