The present invention relates to an organic acid composition with improved antibacterial activity and a preparation method thereof. More specifically, the organic acid composition includes two or more organic acids, ascorbic acid, and a polar solvent, wherein the ascorbic acid is 1 to 5 wt% relative to a total solution. Ascorbic acid is added to the combination of existing organic acid with lack of antibacterial activity, thereby providing improved antibacterial activity. The organic acid composition enhances antimicrobial activity through reaction at 60-100 deg.
