PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid which can activate or inhibit in vivo immune responses, particularly DC immune response-related functions.SOLUTION: The invention relates to an immune response controlling agent containing as an active ingredient at least one nucleic acid selected from the group consisting of a microRNA represented in tables 1-7, a microRNA complementary to the microRNA, an inhibitory nucleic acid to the microRNA and the complementary microRNA, and functional equivalents thereof. According to the invention, an immune response of an organism or a DC separated from the organism can be controlled by using a nucleic acid, and the prevention, improvement, or treatment of diseases caused by a decreased immune function or diseases caused by an abnormal enhancement of the immune function becomes possible.【課題】本発明は、生体の免疫応答、特にＤＣの免疫応答に関する機能を活性化したり抑制したりすることのできる核酸を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明は、表１～表７に示されるマイクロＲＮＡ、前記マイクロＲＮＡと相補的なマイクロＲＮＡ、前記マイクロＲＮＡ及び前記相補的なマイクロＲＮＡに対する阻害性核酸並びにそれらの機能的等価物よりなる群から選択される少なくとも一種以上の核酸を有効成分とする、免疫応答制御剤に関する。本発明によれば、核酸を使用して生体又は生体から分離したＤＣの免疫応答を制御することができ、免疫機能の低下による疾患又は免疫機能の異常亢進による疾患の予防、改善又は治療をおこなうことが可能になる。【選択図】図１
