A circumcision device is provided by the present invention and includes a body (1) and a glans penis locating and protecting member (2) permanently or releasably associated with the body. The body and glans penis locating member between them support a foreskin crushing assembly that includes a crushing surface (6) that includes an axis extending in the general direction of a penis being circumcised in use, a cooperating crushing member (8), and a mechanism for operating the foreskin crushing assembly. A cutting assembly (22, 23) is also provided that is rotatable about said axis relative to the crushing surface (6) so as to be capable of severing a foreskin adjacent the foreskin crushing assembly. The cutting assembly (22, 23) includes a cutting blade (24) movable between a withdrawn position and an operative extended condition in which the blade may be rotated about said axis to cooperate with the crushing suface (6) or a foreskin located thereon.La présente invention concerne un dispositif de circoncision qui comprend un corps (1) et un élément de positionnement et de protection de gland de pénis (2) associé de façon permanente ou amovible au corps.
