<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peptide or the like being a help of cancer therapy applicable to wide tumors such as squamous cell carcinoma, applicable to many people in tumor patients even if the applicable tumor is limited and applicable to various kinds of tumors while complementing the therapy or the diagnosis of the tumor by identifying a new HLA class II-binding T-cell epitope derived from a tumor-associated antigen. <;P>;SOLUTION: The new HLA class II-binding epitope derived from a cancer-associated antigen SART2 is identified and isolated. The new HLA class II-binding epitope derived from the SART2 stimulates the activity and proliferation of CD4-positive T-lymphocyte. The gene product is a hopeful candidate for immunotherapeutic strategy for preventing, treating and diagnosing cancer patients. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
