PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical microscope system capable of expanding a working space below the surgical microscope and attaching an accessory on a side face of the surgical microscope.SOLUTION: Since variable power optical systems 11 of a surgical microscope 3 are set horizontally so as to fold optical paths, a vertical size H from eyepieces 4 to a lower end in the surgical microscope 3 is reduced, and a working space WD below the surgical microscope 3 can be correspondingly expanded. Since a camera 21 is attached to an upper part of the surgical microscope 3, another fluorescent camera 18 can be attached to a side face of the surgical microscope 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3【課題】手術顕微鏡の下方の作業領域を拡大でき且つ手術顕微鏡の側面に附属機器を取付けることが可能な手術顕微鏡システムを提供する。【解決手段】手術顕微鏡３の変倍光学系１１を水平にして光路を折り返すようにしたため、手術顕微鏡３における接眼部４から下端までの上下寸法Ｈが小さくなり、その分だけ手術顕微鏡３の下方の作業領域ＷＤを拡大することができる。カメラ２１を手術顕微鏡３の上部に取付けるため、手術顕微鏡３の側面に他の蛍光カメラ１８を取付けることができる。【選択図】図３
