Disclosed are: an alcoholic beverage base which is produced by mixing a high-concentrationfruit juice with a high-concentration alcohol, in which the fruit juice is blendedwith the alcohol at a specified ratio to reduce or eliminate a stimulus specificto the alcohol, and which has an aroma of a ripe fruit； and an alcoholic beverageproduced by diluting the fruit-juice-containing alcoholic beverage base. Specifically disclosed are: a fruit-juice-containing alcoholic beveragebase comprising 9 v/v% or more of an alcohol and a fruit juice, wherein the fruitjuice is contained in an amount of 11.5 times or more the amount of the alcohol interms of fruit juice content； and an alcoholic beverage produced by dilutingthe fruit-juice-containing alcoholic beverage base.
