Disclosed are: an alcoholic beverage base which is produced by mixing a high-concentrationfruit juice with a high-concentration alcohol, in which the fruit juice is blendedwith the alcohol at a specified ratio to reduce or eliminate a stimulus specificto the alcohol, and which has an aroma of a ripe fruit; and an alcoholic beverageproduced by diluting the fruit-juice-containing alcoholic beverage base. Specifically disclosed are: a fruit-juice-containing alcoholic beveragebase comprising 9 v/v% or more of an alcohol and a fruit juice, wherein the fruitjuice is contained in an amount of 11.5 times or more the amount of the alcohol interms of fruit juice content; and an alcoholic beverage produced by dilutingthe fruit-juice-containing alcoholic beverage base.
