The present invention relates to a nanocarrier which increases delivering efficiency of sitosterol or a derivative thereof to skin. The present invention further relates to a composition for skin external application containing the same. According to the present invention, the nanocarrier of which a surface thereof is modified by anions can deliver sitosterol or the derivative thereof to the skin with high efficiency by sealing the sitosterol or the derivative therein. Thus, the composition of the present invention can be applied as medicines and functional cosmetic products for preventing hair loss and improving hair growth. In addition, the nanocarrier can also be useful for developing formulations for delivering cosmetic products and medicines.본 발명은 시토스테롤 또는 그 유도체의 피부전달 효율을 증가시키는 나노 운반체 및 이를 함유하는 피부 외용제 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하여 음전하로 표면이 개질된 나노운반체는 시토스테롤 또는 그 유도체들을 봉입하여, 고효율로 피부로 전달할 수 있다. 이를 통하여 본 발명의 피부 외용제 조성물은 탈모방지 및 발모개선용 등 기능성 화장품을 비롯한 의약품으로써 활용가능하며, 상기 나노 운반체는 화장품, 의약품 전달의 제형개발에도 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.
