Conjugates of an IL-15 moiety and one or more non-peptide water soluble polymers are provided. Typically, the non-peptide water soluble polymer is poly (ethylene glycol) or a derivative thereof. Also specifically provided are compositions comprising the conjugate, methods for making the conjugate, and methods for administering the composition to an individual. A conjugate comprising a residue of the IL-15 moiety covalently linked to a water soluble polymer.
